i loathe this modern lit assignment. really. i absolutely cannot stand it. i hate explaining why a text is modern. it's stupid. and i have to go and read 7 extracts for it. including heart of darkness and the great gatsby. heart of darkness is like some boring crap i'm trying to read it online. and whats with the 400 word commentary after each extract? do the math, 7x400 = 2800! that's like some whole report. unhelpful uninteresting unnecessary assignment.
