masquerade, paper faces on parade

first comes my v important announcement of the day : THE IDIOT "STALKER" ON MY TAGBOARD IS NONE OTHER THAN ZEI. (zomg ask me to tell you about the traumatic experience which preceded this discovery)

pastor khong preached about deception on sunday's service. it's very true, that those under deception will never realise that they are being deceived on their own, and that deception of the heart is the most dangerous deception of all. really, sometimes we are so fixated on an idea of sorts that we arent able to see the wrong in it unless someone tells us. which isnt very often and even so it depends on whether we are willing to listen and accept that what we've known and taken to be truths could be, in fact, wrong.

the worst kind of lies are half-truths

He told us some story about an experiment where they put some frogs in an uncovered pot or something with water, then they raised the temperature of the water by one degree at a time, after long intervals of i dont know what. and in the end all the frogs died, boiled to death. okay la they seem dumb, cos they could have jumped out at any time, but they were deceived! lol.

i finished my lit 19th century novel review, and i dont seem to be capable of any further intellectual thinking tonight. lol. i give up. i shall go play guitar a while later then go sleep alr. i'm getting better! i can now almost play the F chord. go rachel (:
